Worst customer service experience— I purchased a dryer from my local Lowe's store. Lowe's delivered 3 different dryers all which didn’t work upon installation. After the third attempt, I requested a refund. The refund was granted, but not refunded back to my credit card, but instead refunded to my local store. I had to return to the store, where I waited an hour to receive cash back on my credit card purchase. Hours were wasted and while the customer service agents I spoke with apologized and were pleasant, no one ever offered a discount, gift card or any other compensation for the inconvenience. I will never make another purchase from Lowe's again.
Worst customer experience ever. I called three times and waited on hold for 30 mins each time just to have my call dropped every time. All I wanted to do was speak to someone in the order pickup department about my order. I guess that’s too much to ask these days. I would rather order the product literally anywhere else because given the time I waited I hold I could just build it myself next time.
I drove to the New Lenox location as they had the option of lighting I wanted in stock. Upon entering the store every associate I walked passed smiled and said “hello” which was a pleasant change of pace from other stores. The lighting was not in the correct spot on the shelf so Mark and Gale both assisted with bringing over the ladders. You know when you go somewhere and the associates moan and groan in front of customers because something is not in the right spot and now the associate has to actually do work? Almost as if it was the customers fault that items were incorrectly placed. Well that was not the case. Gale and Mark were professional and wonderful! Both were very pleasant and made the shopping experience on New Year’s Eve enjoyable. Keep it up New Lenox Lowes!
PSA: Never EVER purchase any major appliances from LOWES! They SUCK and change return/repair/customer satisfaction and service policies to suit themselves as they see fit!! ZERO customer service. 90 day return policy stated is apparently only when THEY say so or feel like it. A 2 week old appliance and they take absolutely NO responsibility for it!!!
I’m enraged.
UPDATE: I called as they suggested in their “reply” and here we are over a month later, and STILL no call back or any sort of resolution as promised.
Bottom line, Lowe’s customer service and LG customer service are useless. Buy your appliances ANYWHERE else except LOWES.
They have a huge, newly refreshed inventory. They change out their items for frequently than most home centers. I usually am pleased with their selections. My purchase was yard fertilizer, although I walked around. I even looked at entry doors.
Staff was amazing! Very helpful, knowledgeable, and just downright friendly! Great selection of tools and appliances(particularly dishwashers that we couldn’t find at Home Depot). I will absolutely be back! I just wish they carried Ryobi.
Placed an order online was told order would be delivered to the store tracked my package through their website and it said it arrivwed at shipping partner in mokena at 02:22 and departed at 02:36 and still. No order . Talked.to.storw they said that order is probably sitting in back of store in warehouse and not checked in. Should not promise delivery on a certain day and not stay true to what the promised delvery day is. Probably wont see it till next week.
Soon as I came into the store with a friend we went into the chair section to look for a comfy chair and look for certain prices and potentially buy one, as soon as we did we had an older man who worked at Lowe’s come up to us and repeatedly ask us to leave the area in such a rude manner and not once said hello or anything. We left that area of the store to go look for wood for a sub box and instantly turned around and saw the same man following us no matter where we went, then we got approached by the manager or store supervisor,(cause he was wearing a different vest) and said that there has been people messing around. Not sure why he assumed we were messing around or that we were that type. No matter were we went we were followed, shame but that night crew at the Lowe’s in New Lenox is not the friendliest at all!
